The type of media a person consumes matters, as it shapes their head space, their emotions, they way they think and feel -- everything about them! And what we are discovering is the type of media we are consuming is NOT GOOD for us at all! All this short form content is rotting our brains LITERALLY!
Good Brain Food is a podcast that attempts to change that! It’s an attempt to get people to put down their personal screens and find OTHER forms of entertainment! Emphasizing books, art, and music, this series also recognizes the benefit from a group collective watching long form content, like movies and TV shows together.
So, this LIVE FORMAT of the Good Brain Food podcast will feature watching various movies, tv shows and musical performances in a group setting! There will be a short presentation before the feature presentation, with a Q and A immediately afterwards.

Ryan Delaney began his journey in the mental health field by earning his bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2010. Early in his career, he worked in a variety of in-home therapeutic roles, gaining hands-on experience supporting individuals in their everyday environments and building a strong, practical foundation in client care.
In 2016, Ryan earned his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, expanding his clinical expertise and deepening his ability to help individuals navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
Since 2020, Ryan has owned and operated his own private mental health practice in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. His approach is centered on personalized, client-focused care—meeting people where they are and helping them move forward with clarity, confidence, and effective tools.
Ryan is committed to ongoing growth and has earned multiple certifications to better serve his clients. These include certified trauma therapist, certified sound healer, and certified meditation teacher. Most recently, he has been certified in the treatment of personality disorders as well as in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
In addition to his clinical work, Ryan has developed a practical workshop series designed to help individuals better manage their mental well-being. Drawing from both professional experience and real-life application, these workshops focus on simple, effective coping strategies—especially auditory vagus nerve stimulation, also known as brain humming—to help improve mental clarity and emotional balance.
